Enjoyable one night stay, we stayed in room named Regency which was spacious with lots of light from the large four sash windows and had a great balance of traditional features and contemporary upgrades.
We dined in the restaurant for dinner which offers a Menu of five starters/mains/deserts together with nibbles option, the food was nicely presented, but the menu was not really to our liking, good selection of wine & beverages, my partner enjoyed her Cocktail.
Breakfast was very nice with decent selection.
Owner Tyler was very helpful and offered plenty of local information.
Nice little Suffolk town with some nice local shops pubs and restaurants.
Some areas of the accommodation could do with addressing and improving to offer a more pleasing aesthetic look to guests would be the garden area, the reception area and the view into the yard from the staircase, none of these impacted on our overall experience in mid-winter.
Would definitely recommend.

We chose the Boarding House because it suited our requirements. We wanted to tour the area and this was ideal for this purpose. Tyler the host was exceptional and the breakfast and dinner were excellent. The room was great a good size with a small seating area overlooking the garden.

Extremely good food and service, and the dining room was a really nice space. Good value for money also, given the quality of the food, portion size (generous) and in comparison to how much less good food costs these days everywhere (prices here weren't massively more expensive but the difference was more than worth it).

This is a fantastic spot to stay on a weekend away on the Suffolk coast. Close enough to many nice villages and the sea with very well decorated and furnished rooms.
Very good for a baby as well since you have both a kettle and a fridge in the room for making bottles and the room is large enough to easily fit a baby bed.
The breakfasts were also fantastic and a great value.
